Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) Exam Results

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of Special Class Railway Apprentices’ (SCRA) Examination, 2012.

49 candidates (22 General including 4 PH-I, 16 Other Backward Classes, 7 Scheduled Castes and 4 Scheduled Tribes) have been recommended for appointment as SCR Apprentices in the Indian Railways Service of Mechanical Engineers.

This recommendation is on the basis of result of the written examination which was held on 29 January, 2012 followed by Personality Test from 18 June to 20th June, 2012. The medical examination for these recommended candidates will be conducted by the Ministry of Railways.

A communication for medical examination is expected to be issued by the Ministry of Railways to the candidates individually within 21 days from the date of declaration of final result.
